* Beta for an increment equal to the difference between the 90th and 10th percentile of pollutant.

+ Adjusted for age, body mass index, smoking status, year of smoking and percent neutrophils in blood count. Multivariable analyses based on the RmtDNAcn measured on the forth day of a work week were also adjusted for the level of RMtDNAcn on the first day, in addition to age, body mass index, smoking status, year of smoking and percent neutrophils in blood count. Results for the forth day of a work week from multivariable models including only age, body mass index, smoking status, year of smoking and percent neutrophils in blood count as independent variables did not show major changes from those shown here.
